Footjoy Golf Shoes

In the 1920s a company named Field and Flint began developing a range of golf shoes called FootJoys.  Over time the shoes became very popular with the new wave of touring pro golfers. In 1927 Walter Hogan picked FootJoy as his golfing shoe of choice and used it as his official team shoe. FootJoy became one of the first sponsors of the Ryder Cup. FootJoy had soon become the number one golf shoe, a position it has maintained ever since.
